Ruckle Heritage Farm Herbal Teas

All of the plants that make up our teas are grown or foraged right here on the farm! We recommend using 1 Tbsp per cup of hot water to achieve a strong enough flavor and reap the nutritional benefits outlined below. Allow your infusion to steep for at least ten minutes or overnight on the counter.

Lemon Balm

Calming lemon balm may help with insomnia, anxiety and indigestion, especially for an upset stomach due to nervousness.

Catnip

Catnip isn’t just for cats! While this herb makes cats frisky, for humans it actually has a calming effect on the nervous system and can help one sleep. It is considered a mild sedative that also aids digestion and can even help with motion sickness.

Mint

This classic tea can settle your stomach and help digestion and even freshen breath. Makes a refreshing iced tea!

Chocolate Mint

The same benefits as mint tea with a smooth and delicious hint of chocolate.

Lady’s Mantle

This plant’s leaves are said to help aches and pains during menstruation and ease menopausal symptoms.

Stinging Nettle

Particularly when harvested prior to the plant flowering, nettles are loaded with vitamins and minerals. Nettle tea is a grounding, earthy tea that is good for skin health and may help lower blood sugar levels, reduce inflammation and combat hay fever.

Rose/Lavender/Calendula Tea Blend

Calendula is antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. Roses are full of antioxidants and may relieve stress. Lavender can help with anxiety and depression.

Christmas Tree Tea

This seasonal favorite is made with Douglas Fir (high in vitamin C), Nettles (see above nettle tea description), Cleavers (excellent for the lymphatic system), organic orange peel (good for digestion) and wonderfully aromatic organic cinnamon chips and organic cloves. All ingredients from the farm except orange peel, cinnamon and cloves.
